Summit High School hosts the TSSAA District 10-AAA volleyball tournament the week of Oct. 5, with the defending state champions playing on their home court in Spring Hill.

The Summit Spartans Athletics Department announced on X Sunday, Oct. 4, that tickets are $10 and available through GoFan. Because this is a TSSAA-sanctioned event, school passes will not be accepted. All attendees, including students, must purchase a ticket.

School passes won't work.

The bracket and game times were posted as an image in the announcement. Fans can find the full schedule on the @wcsSHSAthletics account on X.

Summit enters the tournament at 20-14 overall and 11-3 in district play, good for third in District 10-AAA, according to MaxPreps. The Spartans dropped their final two regular-season matches, falling at Nolensville on Tuesday, Sept. 29, before a five-set loss to Franklin on Thursday, Oct. 1.

The stakes are familiar territory for coach Warne Riker's squad. Summit won the 2025 TSSAA Class AAA state championship, edging Brentwood in a five-set match for the program's first title. Riker earned 2025-26 TSSAA Volleyball Coach of the Year honors, according to Williamson County Schools.

Six seniors anchor the roster: setter Tessa Rowe, Everleigh DeShazo, Aaree Poag, Emery Estep, Madison Spelta and Micah Hayes. Estep led the team with 13 kills in a three-set road sweep of Page on Wednesday, Sept. 23, the Williamson Herald reported.

"There's a special target on our back because we won and everybody wants to say that we're just a 'one and done' type thing … Our district is, as one reporter put it a few years ago, the gauntlet of death," Riker told the Williamson Herald in August ahead of the season.

District 10-AAA features eight Williamson County programs: Summit, Franklin, Nolensville, Page, Brentwood, Centennial, Independence and Ravenwood. Teams from the district have played for the Class AAA state title in each of the last two seasons, with Nolensville winning in 2024 and Summit in 2025.

Summit's all-season pass does not cover TSSAA events. Fans should search for Summit High School or TSSAA District 10-AAA on GoFan to purchase tournament tickets. Games are at Summit High School, 2830 Twin Lakes Dr., Spring Hill.
