Yogurt Beach, a self-serve frozen yogurt shop, has opened at 1002 Nasdaq St., Ste. H, in Spring Hill, next to Goodwill.
Owners Clay and Bonnie Murray run the Spring Hill shop as one of the brand's licensed locations, Maury County Source reported on Monday, Oct. 19. The couple introduced themselves on Instagram, sharing that family is at the heart of everything they do, according to the report.
The shop announced its opening on social media: "The wait is OVER! Yogurt Beach Spring Hill is officially OPEN, and we can't wait to welcome you in!"
The business's website describes the Murrays as "a family with a dream of creating something sweet together." It lists the Spring Hill location as a locally owned, family-run business serving premium frozen yogurt and custard in what the brand calls a beach-inspired atmosphere.
Yogurt Beach uses a self-serve model. Customers pick from a rotating selection of flavors and top their creations from a bar of more than 50 options, including fresh fruit, candy, nuts and sauces, according to the website.
The exact flavor count depends on the source. Maury County Source reported the shop offers around 16 flavors at a time, including a gluten-free option. The business's own website lists 21 frozen yogurt and custard flavors.
The Hurst family founded Yogurt Beach in Reno, Nevada, in 2011, according to Maury County Source. The brand has grown to five locations in the Reno area and eight licensed stores across the country. Spring Hill is one of those licensed locations.
Hours are Sunday, noon to 9 p.m., and Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Customers can follow the shop on Instagram at @yogurtbeachspringhill for updates.
