Five Spring Hill food establishments earned perfect 100 scores in the latest round of Maury County health inspections.

McDonald's on Old Port Royal Road, Sushi Thai on Main Street, The Hidden Kitchen on Old Military Road, Battle Creek Elementary School and Battle Creek Middle School all received top marks during the Sept. 21 through Oct. 6 inspection period, according to the Maury County Source. The scores were compiled from Tennessee Department of Health records.

All five scored 100.

Several restaurants in the Crossings area also posted strong numbers. Texas Roadhouse earned a 98 on Sept. 28. Olive Garden received a 98 on a follow-up inspection Oct. 2. Tropical Smoothie Cafe landed at 97 on Sept. 25.

Along the Port Royal Road corridor, Burger King scored 98 on Sept. 23. Royal Events & Social scored 99 on Oct. 1. Hampton Inn-Spring Hill earned a 99 on a hotel follow-up inspection the same day.

Two restaurants posted the lowest food-service scores among Spring Hill locations in this round. Arby's on Crossing Circle scored 94 on Sept. 25. Froggy and Jeffros Bar & Grill on Port Royal Road also scored 94 on Oct. 1. Logan's Roadhouse and Frankies Pizza and Grill each scored 95.

The inspection period also covered pools and a child care facility. Harvest Point Pool and its wading pool both scored 94 on Sept. 25. Hampton Inn-Spring Hill's pool scored 98 on Oct. 1. Discovery Lane Day School on Parkway Drive received an "Approval" result on a child care facilities inspection Oct. 1.

The specific violations behind each score were not included in the published report.

Tennessee Department of Health environmental specialists inspect every food-service establishment at least twice a year.
